PREPARING FOR A BRAND NEW YEAR

2023-2024

Wednesday Classes begin SEPTEMBER 13TH.  
 

CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD,  Atrium Levels I ( ages 3–5K) and II (grades 1-3)

OPTIONS for ATRIUM I :  Class A / WEDNESDAYS - 10:30am - 12:00pm
                                           Class B / WEDNESDAYS - 6:00pm - 7:30 pm
                   
OPTIONS for ATRIUM II:  WEDNESDAYS - 6:00pm - 7:30pm
 
 
CLASS SIZE LIMIT for all Atriums is 12.  
 
 

GROWING DISCIPLES (4TH -6TH grades) and the CONFIRMATION CLASS (7th and 8th/9th grades)
meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. 

Growing Disciples is for 4th - 6th graders (3rd graders too, if no space in Atrium II). It is conducted in the same spirit as Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: Montessori based, knowledge based, more student independence but interspersed with directed presentation moments.  Homework is assigned each week.  

Confirmation Program: For grades 7 and 8. This is a two-year preparation program using Chosen produced by Ascension Press in Year 1. In Year 2, students use three Ascension Press curriculums: Altaration (the Mass), Encounter (The Bible timeline) and Theology of the Body for Middle Schoolers.  Some of these curriculum have an online component. Students will have one hour of homework to complete each week consisting of watching egaging videos and answering simple questions.  Each on campus session ends with a period of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.    

 
First Sacrament Preparation for ATRIUM II STUDENTS and those OLDER, attend five additional Atrium sessions held on Saturdays.  We call those SACRAMENT SATURDAYS. 

PROGRAM FEES:

One child ages 3years to 6th grade ------------- $30/ year
Two or more children ages 3 years to 6th grade ----------------------$60 / year
Confirmation students: $80 ( which will cover retreat costs, as well), no more than $160 per family
